A global Life Science company has asked members of the Collinear Alliance to create a roadmap for the consolidation of two of their existing warehouse facilities.  While the primary driver of the project is to eliminate one facility footprint for a more efficient operation, additional objectives will include the optimization of MHE /storage options as well as process improvements based upon operations best practices. Both domestic and international shipments are to be impacted while leveraging an existing ERP/ WMS infrastructure.  Overall goals include the reduction of labor and facility space –  along with all their associated costs – while maintaining or improving upon all order accuracy and customer service scorecard metrics.
